Creation and branding of a museum housing design exibithions.
In this group project we tackled the task of creating a museum from zero.
We were adamant in wanting a dynamic identity, so we based it on a flexible pattern made of underscores. It’s generated by code, every time the program runs the resulting pattern is unique. Then we combined it with a bold logo.
The material was collected into separate books and bound in a folder that sums up the entire project. This format was inspired by Olivetti’s red books.
We had some fun making these short teasers for _mag which we called "bumpers".
This part of the project gave us the chance to work with some truly unique materials, including spray paint, iron shavings and even ketchup and chips.
Our final work included a brand manual, merchandise, internal wayfinding, a project book, a diary and the presentation booklet for an exhibition.
For the museum’s launch we designed a campaign on social media
involving an interactive website that changed day by day and an agumented reality interactive installation.
